EVA Airways Corporation (EVA Air), of which "EVA" stands for Evergreen Airways, is one of enterprises of Evergreen Group, and also is one of members of Star Alliance. 
EVA Air is the second largest Taiwanese airline, and is headquartered in Luzhu, Taoyuan City, Taiwan.
EVA Air is one of the Taiwanese international airlines based at Taoyuan International Airport near Taipei, Taiwan since 1991.
EVA Air is operating passenger and dedicated cargo services to over 60 international destinations in Asia, Australia, Europe, and North America. EVA Air is largely privately owned and flies a fully international route network. 
Since EVA Air’s founding in 1989 as an affiliate of shipping conglomerate Evergreen Group, EVA Air has expanded to include air cargo, airline catering, ground handling, and aviation engineering services. EVA Air Cargo, links with the Evergreen worldwide shipping network on sea and land. 
EVA Air’s domestic and regional subsidiary, UNI Air, operates a medium and short-haul network to destinations in Taiwan, Macau and China with its main hub in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. 
As of January 2018, EVA Air is the 15th safest airline in the world. It is a 5-star airline, rated by Skytrax. 
As of the end of August, EVA Air operates a mixed fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft, with 3 B747-400F, 33 B777-300ER, 3 A330-200, 9 A330-300, 24 A321-200, 3 B777F (excluded 2 to be delivered), 2 ATR72-600, 4 B787-9 (to be delivered), and 20 B787-10 (to be delivered). 
EVA Air was one of the first carriers to introduce the Premium Economy class (called Elite Class in EVA Air), which it debuted in 1991, Elite Class now is onboard on Boeing 777 and 787 fleets.
As of Sep. 01, 2018, EVA Air has 10 affiliates, such as Evergreen Aviation Technologies Corp., Evergreen Airline Services Corporation, Evergreen Sky Catering Corporation, Evergreen Air Cargo Services Corporation, Evergreen Airways Service (Macau) Ltd., Hsiang-Li Investment Corporation, PT Perdana Andalan Air Service, Sky Castle Investment Ltd., and EVA Flight Training Academy.
